Apple Jam Production Line – From Fresh Apple to Jar-Ready Spread

Apple Processing Line Solutions – Jam, Puree, Juice & Beverage

This complete apple processing equipment system covers four product categories: apple jam, apple puree (sauce), apple juice, and apple-based drinks. All lines share core modules – sorting, washing, crushing, and enzyme treatment – with dedicated units for final product characteristics.

Apple Jam Line includes a rotary crusher, pre-heating kettle, vacuum cooking kettle (with scraper agitator), and pectin addition station. Final Brix controlled at 60–68, with vacuum deaeration to remove bubbles and preserve color. Filling options include glass jars, plastic cups, or aseptic bags.

Apple Puree Line features a paddle finisher (0.5–0.8 mm sieve) for fine or coarse texture, a deaerator to prevent oxidation, and a tubular sterilizer. Supports hot break (for thicker puree) or cold break (for fresher flavor). Brix range 10–18.

Apple Juice Line combines a hammer mill, belt press or screw press for juice extraction, enzymatic treatment tanks for starch and pectin removal, ultrafiltration for clear juice, and multi-stage falling film evaporator for concentrate (up to 70 Brix). For not-from-concentrate (NFC) juice, pasteurization at 85°C/15 seconds.

Apple Beverage Line adds a blending station for sugar, acid, vitamins, and optional carbonation or tea extract. Homogenizer at 150–200 bar ensures mouthfeel stability. Filler options include PET, glass, and aluminum cans, with capacity from 3000 to 48000 bottles per hour.

All contact parts SUS304/SUS316L stainless steel, CIP integrated, PLC automation. Capacity from 1 to 40 tons fresh apple per hour. Installation drawings and commissioning support included.

Production Process Overview
1Discharge Platform
Fresh apples are unloaded from trucks using a dedicated platform with water guns and transported to the production line via water flow. This area also serves as a pre-washing station before processing begins.
2Elevator
Transports fresh apples from external receiving areas into the processing facility.
3Washing
Fresh apples undergo thorough cleaning before skin and seed removal. Additional cleaning stages, including ultrasonic and ozone cleaning, can be integrated for enhanced sanitation.

4Sorting
After washing, apples are visually inspected by operators to identify and remove any defective fruit, ensuring only quality produce proceeds to processing.

5Crushing
GFM-FC series crushers utilize advanced technology for high-precision crushing of apples and other fruits. This fine grinding process enhances the efficiency of subsequent processing stages.

6Preheating
Crushed material is heated to temperatures between 45°C and 85°C. This step improves juice yield in subsequent extraction while preserving color and flavor characteristics.

7Belt Type Juice Extractor

8Sterilizing

9Aseptic Filling
Closed-loop aseptic filling systems work in conjunction with sterilizers. The filling chamber maintains vapor protection and sterile conditions, with mirror welding technology ensuring clean, smooth surfaces. Includes CIP and Auto SIP capabilities for various packaging formats.

10Storage or Blending
